PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA FOR VISITORS

According to the Personal Data Protection Law ("PDPL"), which aims to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals, primarily the privacy of private life, in the processing of personal data, we aim to inform you about your personal data processed by Panasonic Electric Works Elektrik Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi ("Panasonic"), located at Abdurrahmangazi Mahallesi Ebubekir Caddesi No: 44 34887 Sancaktepe Istanbul/Türkiye, as the data controller.  In our company's settlements, personal data processing activities are carried out to monitor the entry and exit of our guests, suppliers and their vehicles by using the surveillance camera.

1.    PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

Panasonic, your visual data of camera recordings is processed for the purposes of ensuring the security of the physical space within the company, keeping a door pass report, informing the law enforcement officer in case of crime or illegality, ensuring the legal, technical and commercial-occupational safety of the data subjects who have a business relationship with the company, conducting processes related to occupational health and safety, resolving legal disputes, presenting it as evidence in a possible dispute, and transferring it to judicial authorities or relevant law enforcement authorities upon request in accordance with the relevant legislation within the scope of the personal data processing conditions specified in articles 5 and 6 of the PDPL.

2.    YOUR PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

If you visit the company settlement, the following personal data may be processed.

    Identifying Information: Name Surname, T.R. Identity No. or Passport No. 

    Data of Physical Space Security: Date and time of visitor entry and exit, camera recordings (CCTV).

    Other Information: Information about the company that you come from and the person to be visited. 

3.    TRANSFER OF YOUR PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA

In accordance with articles 8 and 9 of the PDPL, your personal data is transferred to third parties in the following cases, related to the purpose, in a limited and restrained manner:

Your personal data, within the scope of the provisions of the PDPL related to the transfer of personal data for the purposes specified in the first article of this Privacy notice herein, will be shareable with official institutions and organizations in the country, courts, law enforcement agencies and related service provider companies (company that provides the security service, occupational physician, occupational safety specialist, contracted insurance institution).

4.    METHODS OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA AND THEIR LEGAL REASONS

Your personal data will be processed during the establishment of your legal relationship with Panasonic and during the continuation of such relationship; In case that you visit the company settlement it is collected, stored and processed directly from you or through our supplier that we receive security services, physically, written, verbally or via CCTV cameras, based on the reasons of following legal compliance. 

    Obtaining your explicit consent specified in article 5/1 of the Law.

-    For example, processing your personal data for the purpose of transferring it to companies residing abroad

    Being mandatory for the fulfillment of the legal obligation,

- For example, and in accordance with the Law on Private Security Services with No. 5188 and the regulation on the implementation of this law, processing it for the purpose of providing protection and security.

    That the data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise or protection of a right,

- For example, processing it for the purpose of being used as evidence in the event of a legal dispute.

    Provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject, data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller.

-    For example, processing for the purpose of obtaining visitor records.

5.    STORAGE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA 

Your personal data may be stored for as long as required by the purposes of their processing. In cases where there is no other reason or legal reason, there is no legal storage period stipulated in any legislation, there is a lack of international law or regulation, and a disappearance of the obligations arising from the agreements, your personal data, the processing purposes of which are eliminated, are deleted, destroyed or anonymized.

6.    RIGHTS OF THE PERSON WHOSE PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED 

In accordance with the provisions of article 11 of the Law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data.

    To learn whether personal data is processed or not,

    To request information about the process, if the personal data has been processed,

    To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

    To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred within the country or abroad,

    To request the correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,

    To request the deletion or destruction of personal data,

    In case of a correction, deletion or destruction of personal data, to request notification of these transactions to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,

    To make an objection against the occurrence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

    To request the compensation of the damage in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.

In accordance with your legal rights stipulated within the scope of the relevant law and other legislation, you can submit your requests with a petition or with the Data Subject Application Form of Panasonic Electric Works Elektrik Sanayi Ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi to our address at Abdurrahmangazi Mah. Ebubekir Cad. No: 44 34887 Sancaktepe Istanbul/Türkiye in person, you can submit them through a notary public. Furthermore, in accordance with article 5 of the "Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller", you can send it to the registered e-mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature or verisorumlusupanasoniclife@hs03.kep.tr. 

7.    AMENDMENTS

This privacy notice may be updated depending on amendments in the company policies or relevant legal regulations. It is recommended that you regularly check the up-to-date version.
