PANASONIC ELECTRIC WORKS ELEKTRİK SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. PRIVACY NOTICE ON THE PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA FOR THE PURPOSE OF SENDING COMMERCIAL ELECTRONIC MESSAGES

This Privacy Notice has been prepared in accordance with Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“PDPL”) to inform you about the collection, processing, transfer of your personal data and your rights under the PDPL. As Panasonic Electric Works Elektrik Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi, located at Abdurrahmangazi Mah. Ebubekir Cad. No: 44, 34887 Sancaktepe, İstanbul/Türkiye, we act as data controller and process your personal data in accordance with the PDPL and relevant legislation as detailed below.

Your personal data is processed in line with the principles of purpose limitation, data minimization, accuracy and lawfulness. Our Company takes all necessary steps to ensure that the personal data processed is accurate and kept up to date. Accordingly, your personal data may be processed for the purposes listed below. We may process your identity and contact information for the purposes of conducting marketing activities relating to the products and services offered by our Company to our customers and potential customers, planning activities to ensure that you obtain the highest level of benefit from our products and services, informing you of special offers tailored to you, contacting you to promote our Company’s services, providing information regarding events and news, sending catalogues, brochures or similar materials to your address upon request, and managing customer satisfaction and loyalty activities.

3.  Methods of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Basis
Relying on the legal bases of obtaining your explicit consent and fulfilling our legal obligations as set out under Article 5 of the PDPL, our Company collects your personal data via electronic means such as e-mail, telephone and SMS for the purpose of carrying out the above mentioned activities in the most practical and efficient manner.

Your personal data, primarily your contact information, may be transferred to our suppliers and business partners located within Türkiye whose services we utilize for the execution of our business operations, to the infrastructure and IT systems used by Panasonic, and to authorized public institutions and private persons for the purpose of fulfilling our legal obligations as required by law, all within the scope of the purposes set out above.

5.  Storage of Personal Data
Your personal data may be retained for the period required to fulfil the purposes of processing. In accordance with Article 5/2(ç) of the PDPL, which relates to the fulfilment of the Company’s legal obligations, our Company, together with our business partners and suppliers, may retain your personal data for a period of three years from the date on which you reject receiving commercial electronic messages or commercial communication, provided that there is no other reason requiring a longer retention period. In the absence of any other justification or legal basis, any statutory retention period stipulated under applicable legislation, or any contractual obligation necessitating continued storage, your personal data for which the processing purposes no longer exist shall be deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

6.  Rights of The Data Subject
In accordance with the provisions of article 11 of the Law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data.

1. To learn whether personal data is processed or not,
2. To request information about the process, if the personal data has been processed,
3. To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
4. To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred within the country or abroad,
5. To request the correction of personal data in case of incomplete or incorrect processing,
6. To request the deletion or destruction of personal data,
7. In case of a correction, deletion or destruction of personal data, to request notification of these transactions to third parties to whom personal data has been transferred,
8. To make an objection against the occurrence of a result against the person by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
9. To request the compensation of the damage in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data

You may submit your questions and requests regarding your personal data by means of a petition prepared in accordance with the requirements set out in the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, or by using the Panasonic Electric Works Elektrik Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Şirketi Data Subject Application Form, and deliver it in person—subject to identity verification—to the address Abdurrahmangazi Mah. Ebubekir Cad. No: 44, 34887 Sancaktepe, Istanbul/Türkiye, or send it via notary public.

In addition, you may submit your requests to the e-mail address verisorumlusupanasoniclife@hs03.kep.tr by using your secure electronic signature or mobile signature, or by using the e-mail address that you have previously notified to our Company and that has been verified in our system.
